i have several. addictions. things i have to do. i need a new book every time i walk into a book store. i can’t pass a sonic without stopping for a cherry coke. i’m addicted to my man, and the show mad men. i have a crazy affinity for mac lip gloss and nordstrom shoes! i pine for dairy queen blizzards, and am currently addicted to the sweat pants i got from victoria’s secret for christmas. i am also, hopelessly addicted, to my phone. i eat golden spoon yogurt for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. facebook, girl scout cookies, the color turquoise, new necklaces and cuff bracelets, text messaging, bad brother on the vampire diaries, all things related to photography, good friends, and love, i am hopelessly addicted to love.
and all her levels.
and i am also addicted to ruth and aj. i have been since we met. they are a drink of cool water after an invigorating run. a relaxing tropical vacation after tax season. a tart yogurt in the dead of summer. i was beside myself when i met them. jumped out of my skin when they asked me to shoot their wedding. and completely head over heals when we shot their engagements. i was so addicted i asked them to model for my most recent workshop. just because, i needed, another ruth and aj hit.
how could you not need an extra dose?

anyone who meets them feels the same way. it’s impossible not to. their pull is magnetic. i am so happy to have met them and so excited to be a part of this exciting time in their life!!
the truth is these two are addicted to each other too. have been since high school.
you starting to feel like you need more? like we can’t stop here? i know. believe me.
they are magic. just like cherry coke at 300pm. and a roll of girl scout cookies at 1000am, better yet, just like tylenol pm at bedtime!!! 😉

don’t you think it’s good to be addicted to some things? i think we associate that word with its negative connotations, but in reality it means: enamored, passionate, dedicated, devoted, wild about, mad about, crazy about and NUTS OVER!!! and aren’t all those the things you feel when you are in love. so then love, is really, an addiction as well. addictions, the good ones, are so necessary!!! especially when the person you are addicted to is addicted back, to you.
be addicted! get passionate about everything in your life you love!! cling to those things and those people like you can’t live without them. may they feel your incessant need for them!! and may the feeling be returned to you as well!!
