I LOVE DIY weddings! They are so special and sweet and I find them to be particularly intimate because everything contributed to the wedding came from the those involved. It’s a labor of love. I am an especial fan of DIY vows, or rather, homemade vows, rather, brides and grooms that write and share their hearts on their wedding days. The vow part usually gets me emotional. I love the promises made; it’s the most important part of the day, the reason “we have all gathered together today”. I love it when the couple isn’t afraid to really share what they feel through the power of prose, and I really love it when their words for each other, move us, and them, to tears.
Brett and Lindsey’s vows were lovely. They laughed. They cried. They shared their true hearts with all their dearest friends and family and most importantly with each other!
