i love friday. most people do. it’s for sure my favorite evening day and evening of the week. it just feels so good all day, and i love that the evening is full of anticipation for a weekend. i also love two friday’s out of every month because they are sidekick days, and that means new friends, incredible stuff to shoot, a delicious dinner out, and a table of laughter and community. it’s good, always good, and i love it.
last friday’s sidekick was how to shoot kids (such a good pun!! ;)) it was filled with good stuff and good people!! a big thank you to all of those who came; i was inspired by your passions and spirits! thank you for coming!! thank you to katrina for all of the styling, for amanda for being my supportive and encouraging assistant and friend, thank you to maren and her girls for being our models, AND a big thank you kristen of 3 little birds boutique for all of the adorable necklaces she made for our shoot. i was so touched by her generosity and all the time she put in to the shoot to add a few little extra touches to our shoot! so happy to have met her! you must check out her stuff if you haven’t already! they are PERFECT little personalized treasures. everyone you know needs to either get something from her in their stocking or as a personal gift from you! seriously, they are that sweet and good!!
it was a great evening; so glad it happened!!!
it was kind of a two-fer last friday! we were able to mingle shooting kids with shooting maternity! maren was a good sport; i was grateful! she looks good doesn’t she? so good!!
thank you again to everyone for making it happen. i always walk away from a sidekick feel so inspired by all of the talent that came together to make it happen!!
