Brides contact me. On occasion grooms. More Mother’s of the Bride though than grooms, and I can count, on one hand, the Father’s of the Bride who contact me to help plan their daughter’s wedding. Those are the very sensitive few, who have been delegated certain jobs for whatever reasons. Mark, Rachel’s dad, was no exception. I didn’t speak with Rachel until the week of the wedding. I spoke with her dad, regularly. Not because he was micro managing anything, but because he wanted it all perfect, for his baby girl.
When we met, officially, on wedding day, I felt like I was meeting a kindred spirit, a father similar to my own.
Rachel and Colby’s wedding was so special- top to bottom, start to finish. I knew it would be though-so much love and concern went in to making it perfect!!
After the wedding Mark sent me an email, of thanks!! Touched my heart for sure. He asked if he could write me a recommendation. I was honored. I am including it here!! Thank you for these sentiments, Mark. I, however, was the lucky one. Thank you for sharing all of this love with me!!
