sometimes moments in my life play out like scenes from movies, or super, ultra engaging chapters in novels i can’t put down.
that’s how i felt while being at the workshop.
i have a friend who is really good at taking pictures; that’s a bit of an understatement. to me, she is the shakespeare of photography, the fitzgerald of the lens, the austen of post process. she is a photographic genius, and i am constantly inspired by her talent, skill, and ability. she recently had her very first workshop, and i was happy to be able to lend a hand to help her two days of “genius sharing” go as smoothly as possible. i basically made sure she had everything she needed and that her guests had all of their needs met. and in the meantime, i learned a few things as well. i was actually humbled to be in the presence of so many amazingly talented and successful photographers; it felt surreal to be able to be in a room with all of their positive, creative energy. without further ado, a few highlights from the day, but first, the credits, please:
